      ISO 15189: 2012, Clause 4.14.6 states that the laboratory shall evaluate the impact of work processes and potential failures on examination results as they affect patient safety, and shall modify processes to reduce or eliminate the identified risks and document decisions and actions taken.

      AGHPF is delighted to offer you an incredible opportunity to undertake a Risk Management Course.

      This course is suited for those looking to explore risk management in laboratory processes.

      This is a self paced course that will last for a maximum of five days. However, one can complete it in less time. (Talk about number of modules, topics and expected hours needed to complete course)

      Successful candidates will benefit from the essential insights and competence required to identify and manage risks in laboratory QMS.

      Learning Objectives:

      1. To provide participants with an understanding of risk across multiple functions and operational units in  medical laboratories.
      2. To provide participants with practical knowledge about how to determine and implement safeguards against adverse events.
      3. To provide knowledge and skills for building and improving capabilities to respond effectively to risks in medical laboratories.

      Eligibility criteria:Basic knowledge and experience in laboratory quality management systems is key for one to undertake this course.
